Camino Maps

Camino Maps allows you to render Google Maps for all the cities, towns, villages and points of interest of the 3 currently available Routes to Santiago.

You will also be able to generate a Google Earth file with the trace of the whole route, besides the mentioned points.

This page was born on 22 february 2007 and, so far, has been used 122,294 times by Godesalco.com visitors.

You can select a route by clicking on the links below.

Select a place from the list to the right. After a few seconds it will appear in the center of a Google map.

Click on the link below to automatically generate a Google Earth file for the Via Podiensis ready to be saved to your computer.

This file contains 207 marks of cities, towns, villages and other points of interest, along with the trace of the whole route, generated from a series of 10,148 points, which makes an average of 1 point every 76 metres.

The data set has been last updated on 21 February 2010, and is dinamically retrieved from Godesalco.com' data base server every time you open the kml file with Google Earth, so you don't need to come and check for updates.

All the data for this route have been collected by me and revised in the computer afterwards. If you wish so, you can help me to improve this file by sending me the data that you may collect with your GPS in your pilgrimage.
